Yes, a person who has an ICM or loop recorder can have a mammogram. A mammogram may require their device clinic to take some precautions with their heart monitor. A person with an ICM should be sure to let their device clinic or mammogram technician know ahead of time that they have an ICM. Their device clinic or technician may need to speak with the person's heart doctor before performing the mammogram.
