DESCRIPTION
This course will provide an advanced understanding of patient management, including choice DBS target, intraoperative patient management, advanced programming and troubleshooting. The course will be mainly case based in order to enhance the learning objectives and leverage real scenarios.
This course is offered in partnership with European Continuous Medical Training (ECMT).

Neurologists and neurosurgeons who already have experience with deep brain stimulation for the treatment of movement disorders.
OBJECTIVE
At the end of this training, participants will:
- Select patients
- Assess patients during surgery
- The use of microelectrode recordings during surgery
