CONTENT AND FORMAT

This educational programme covers the treatment of cranial and cervical thoracic junctions. 

How to deal with occipital fixation? How to manage transition to C1/C2 pathologies and cervical thoracic junction? This intermediate training will focus on the following techniques:

  • C0 fixation
  • C1/C2 navigated fixation
  • C3-T2 navigated fixation
  • Cervical thoracic junction corpectomy and fixation

During the interactive plenary sessions, the participants will discuss patient selection and treatment options.

Demonstrations of the surgical techniques will be performed during the anatomical workshop.

Attendees will get the opportunity to discuss in groups and to practice all presented techniques under the supervision of experts at the laboratory.

Audience

This intermediate training is dedicated to spine surgeons having at least 2 years of practice in cervical spine surgeries, and willing to reinforce their knowledge by interacting with experts and peers.
