Thrombectomy is a game-changing treatment for stroke.1

To mark World Stroke Day we would like help raise awareness about Thrombectomy rates and facilities across the whole of the UK and help promote political awareness of this key treatment. 

“Nearly 80% of patients in England who needed a thrombectomy missed out in 2020/21. That is 5,889 patients.1 If thrombectomy rates stayed at 2020/21 levels, 47,112 patients will miss out on the procedure by 2029/30.1”
