In 2001, the M2A™ capsule endoscopy launches with a single camera that allows physicians the ability to view the small bowel mucosa.

PillCam™ ESO capsule launches in 2004, the first capsule to visualize the esophagus.

1 Million Lives Impacted

PillCam™ capsule endoscopy platform celebrates over 1 million lives impacted in 2008.

In 2010, PillCam™ COLON 2 capsule launches. The capsule sees its variable frame rate increase from 4 fps to 35 fps.

2 Million Patients Benefit

In 2013, we celebrate PillCam™ capsule endoscopy impacting over 2 million patient lives.

PillCam™ SB3 capsule also launches in 2013.

PillCam™ SB3 Helps During COVID-19

In 2016, PillCam™ Crohn's capsule launches to help assess Crohn’s disease activity and management.

To provide screening during COVID-19, PillCam™ SB3 capsule is granted U.S. FDA approval for remote use.
