Common Medtronic Account Questions and Answers

When you create and use a Medtronic account you will gain simple and secure access to many Medtronic websites and applications.  This helps keep your information secure, in one place and makes it easier for you to access many of our services.

The following information includes helpful tips for you to navigate the process of registration, login, and account management (e.g. update first name, last name etc.)

Why do I need to create a Medtronic account?

An account allows you to access many of Medtronic’s websites and applications.

How do I create a Medtronic account?

On the application's main page, simply click on the option to Sign Up.  You will be presented a screen where you will enter some basic information about yourself and then be guided through activating your account. It’s that simple.

When do I use my Medtronic account?

You use your Medtronic account to access many of Medtronic’s websites and applications.

What is the benefit of a Medtronic account?

A Medtronic account allows you to access many of Medtronic’s websites and applications through a single account.  When you update your Medtronic account information, it will be updated across all offerings the next time you login eliminating the need to make updates on each separate site.

Can I choose to have more than one Medtronic account?

Yes, but we recommend you only create and use one account.  This keeps all your information securely in one place and makes it easier for you to access multiple sites seamlessly.

How can I protect my Medtronic account?

  • Start by choosing a strong password and keeping it safe.  Don’t share your password or your login data with others. 
  • Your account has been automatically enrolled in multifactor authentication using your email.
  • Enable additional multifactor authentication options:  something you have, something you know (e.g. SMS, Voice.)
  • Only enable ‘Keep me signed in’ on personal devices (e.g. avoid enabling on a shared machine such as one in a library, coffee shop, etc.)

Can I add additional authentication factors (MFA)?

Yes.  During the registration process or by logging into your account and making updates within the area titled ‘Extra Verification.’

Can I change my Medtronic account information?

Yes.  Log into your account and then click the ‘Edit’ button.

What if I forgot my password?

No problem.  On the sign in page enter your email and click 'Next'. On the next page, click ‘Forgot password?’.  Follow the prompts.

Want to reset your password?

If you know your password, but want to change it go to the account page.  Enter your current password, then enter and confirm a new password. (Forgot your password?  See above.)

What if I am locked out of my account?

On the sign in page simply click on ‘Unlock account?’.  Follow the prompts.

What if I don't receive an expected email from Medtronic?

Medtronic sends e-mails under various circumstances;  some of them include:

  • User activation, email sent to new users with a link to follow to complete the registration process. 
  • Forgot password, email sent to a user who have forgotten their password.
  • Change email confirmation, email sent to users who have made a request to change their email.
  • New device notification, email sent to a user who has logged in from a new device or is using a browser in incognito mode.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • Check your junk or spam email folders for the email from Medtronic (noreply@medtronic.com).
  • Add the Medtronic.com domain to your address book to enable you to receive e-mail messages from Medtronic.
  • Check your email security settings.  Sometimes a high setting will block e-mail messages from Medtronic.  Adjust your setting to something other than high.
