Medtronic is providing you and your family with a solution to help monitor for potential COVID-19 symptoms from the convenience of your home — reducing the complexity and stress of self-evaluating your symptom severity, limiting your potential COVID-19 exposure, and avoiding unnecessary visits to the healthcare system.
The Medtronic Care Management Services (MCMS) COVID-19 Virtual Care Evaluation and Monitoring solution evaluates, remotely monitors, and provides CDC-based recommendations for individuals who:
You use a Medtronic Care Management Services virtual assistant to complete a 5–7 minute online evaluation about potential COVID-19 symptoms, based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
You may continue to use the virtual assistant by answering questions about your symptoms and body temperature from home as often as you need.
If symptoms warrant further review, you will be contacted by a registered nurse. If not, the virtual assistant will provide CDC-guided self-care actions you can follow.
These nurses review your data and provide self-care actions in accordance with CDC guidelines. If additional assessment is needed, based on CDC guidelines, the nurse will recommend you contact your healthcare provider directly.
The COVID-19 Virtual Care Evaluation and Monitoring solution is available to U.S. and Puerto Rico employees and their eligible dependents, which includes spouses/domestic partners and dependent children ages 13–26. Children between the ages of 13–17 need parental consent to participate. You are not required to be enrolled in a Medtronic medical plan to participate.

When accessing the virtual assistant, please use Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox as desktop browsers, and Chrome for Android and Safari for iOS as mobile browsers. The virtual assistant is not compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer or Edge browsers.
