If you spoke with an ambassador before you had sacroiliac (SI) joint fusion surgery, you know how assuring it can be to talk with someone who’s had that surgery. Now that you’re on the other side of that experience, you have the chance to help others.
The Ambassador Program connects people considering SI joint fusion with people like you who have a RialtoTM SI fusion system.
Anyone considering SI joint fusion can apply online to request a conversation with an ambassador. That prospective patient chooses an ambassador and requests the day and time when he or she would like to talk.
We will send you an email with the person’s contact information and requested call time. You log onto the ambassador portal to accept or decline the appointment. We send the person an email confirming the call. You call at the appointment time. All ambassadors are provided with a Medtronic cell phone to use.
As an ambassador, you will be able to manage your schedule and availability through the ambassador portal. Conversations with patients typically last from 20 to 30 minutes.
In preparation for becoming an ambassador, you will complete an education/training module and will receive a welcome kit with important information.
People may ask questions like:
Please keep in mind that ambassadors' comments about SI fusion systems relate to their experiences only. As with any treatment, individual results will vary. The caller should talk with a physician about appropriate treatment options.
Ambassadors are people just like you who have volunteered to talk with others about their personal experiences with the Rialto SI fusion system.
The first step to becoming an ambassador is to register online. We’ll be in touch within a few weeks in regard to the selection process. We have a limited number of ambassador roles available and not all who apply will be selected to participate. Thank you for being willing to help others!
