  • Remote monitoring platforms collect patient biometrics and symptom data, while educating patients in their own self-care
  • Software collects patient data, assembles patient health status, and triggers corresponding alerts for potential clinical review
  • Healthcare professionals with an average of more than 15 years clinical experience provide patient support
  • 20 different programs focus on specific diseases and comorbidities

Nederlandse Obesitas Kliniek (NOK), The Netherlands

A strategic partnership between Medtronic and the largest specialized, independent Dutch clinic for obesity treatment provides integrated care for bariatric surgery patients. The collaboration:

  • Resulted in high compliance rates 
  • Showed greater than 50 percent excessive weight loss 
  • Sustained surgical outcomes over 24 months
  • In 18 reports, HRQOL improved post-surgery and continued to improve as total weight loss percentage increased1
