Irrigation

Irrigation is the key to creating and detecting complete cell death throughout the thickness of the tissue. Irrigation cools the surface, which not only allows heat to be driven deeper, it reduces impedance and microbubble formation for more accurate interpretation of tissue changes (cell death) for detection of transmurality.

Create Lesions with Confidence

An essential part of any procedure is feeling confident it has been successful at the time of surgery. The transmurality feedback mechanism provided by the Cardioblate® BP System alerts the surgeon when he or she has created a transmural lesion.
