What is Tubal Disease?

Female infertility can occur due to fallopian tube damage or pelvic inflammatory disorders such as endometriosis.1

How is Tubal Disease treated?

 

Tubal disease can be diagnosed by ultrasound (US) or other imaging techniques.1 Treatment of tubal infertility depends on the cause, whether the condition is correctable, and the goals of the patient. In many cases laparoscopy confirms the diagnosis and can offer a good treatment to the problem.1

If the tubes are blocked or damaged beyond repair, IVF will most probably help to achieve pregnancy.1
