Wormald Hemorrhage Control Set for Skull Base Surgery

Large vessel hemorrhages can severely inhibit visibility during endoscopic sinus and anterior skull base surgical procedures. The innovative MicroFrance® Wormald Hemorrhage Control Set addresses this challenge and offers remarkable visibility, access, and control. Instruments in this anterior skull base surgery set include a variety of clamps, clip-applying forceps, a rotatable needle holder, and an instrument tray.
Surgeons can use the Wormald Clamps to control a large vessel hemorrhage, enabling adequate visualization and sustainable blood flow during anterior skull base surgery. Once bleeding is controlled, the injury may be repaired with the Wormald Clip-Applying Forceps or Wormald Needle Holder.
Wormald Clamps
- Multiple tips and orientations for use with different vessel configurations
- Debakey-style jaws designed to grasp blood vessels atraumatically
- Extended working lengths (17 cm) and slim profiles facilitate access to the anterior skull base
- Ratchet lock on handle maintains jaw closure and allows for rapid release

- Tungsten-carbide jaw inserts provide a strong grip
- Rotatable shaft enables ideal orientation
- Pistol-grip ring handle permits endoscopic insertion
