The Aquamantys®3 System and bipolar sealers with cutting offer monopolar cutting capabilities in addition to patented Transcollation® technology, a combination of radiofrequency (RF) energy and saline that provides hemostatic sealing of soft tissue and bone during surgery.

Aquamantys3 Generator

The Aquamantys3 System is the only multifunctional advanced energy system that combines patented Transcollation technology with monopolar cutting capabilities.

Features of the Aquamantys3 Generator include:

  • Smart cassette with device recognition, which delivers safe, quick set-up of handpieces
  • Graphic user interface with convenient touchscreen functionality
  • Bipolar power settings from 5-300 watts and monopolar settings from 1-120 watts
  • Ability to select three different flow rate settings

Only disposable devices and accessories specifically recommended by Medtronic Advanced Energy may be used with Aquamantys3 generators.

The BSC 9.1S Bipolar Sealer with Cutting is a unique device that combines the benefits of Transcollation technology and electrosurgical cutting. The BSC 9.1S is designed to control bleeding and reduce total surgery time by eliminating the need to switch devices during surgery.*
