MiRCSP® Cannulae

The MiRCSP Cannulae is a retrograde cardioplegia cannula for cardiac surgeons who want to differentiate themselves with less invasive procedures. Unlike traditional Retrograde Coronary Sinus Perfusion cannulae, the new MiRCSP includes unique features that allow you to place it trans-atrial into the coronary sinus through small thoracic incisions (mini-sternotomy or right thoracotomy). Additional features enhance the visibility on echocardiography or fluoroscopy to further facilitate cannulae placement.

  • Tip deflection of up to 40 degrees.
  • 10 mm side-to-side tip sweep.
  • Available in both auto and manual inflate cuff.
  • Enhanced echogenicity on auto-inflate balloon.

Important Safety Information

Extreme caution should be exercised while introducing the cannulae into the coronary sinus. Do not force the cannulae into the coronary sinus as this may cause vessel damage. Additional care and caution may be necessary due to the unique adaptations required for minimally invasive techniques. Due to limitations of direct visualization during minimally invasive techniques, echocardiographic or fluoroscopic imaging is recommended.
