Blood Pressure Procedure
THE RENAL DENERVATION BLOOD PRESSURE PROCEDURE
An evidence-based option to help reduce high blood pressure1-3
A non-drug, non-lifestyle option for reducing high blood pressure.
Treatment of high blood pressure, or hypertension, has traditionally been through lifestyle changes, such as diet and exercise, and medications.4
There is also another, complementary approach - a blood pressure procedure called renal denervation (RDN).
High blood pressure, a very common health issue around the world, often has no symptoms but raises the risk of heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, and kidney failure.4,5
~46%
of adults with high blood pressure are unaware they have it.4
~80%
of people with high blood pressure do not have it under control.4
> 1 billion
people are affected worldwide.4
Known as the “silent killer”5, high blood pressure often has no symptoms but raises serious health risks4
The renal denervation blood pressure procedure is an evidence-based, minimally invasive procedure that may be indicated for patients with uncontrolled hypertension.7 Designed to be used in conjunction with lifestyle modifications and medications, it has been shown to significantly and sustainably reduce blood pressure.1-3,8 For some patients, it may also allow the number or dosage of blood pressure medications to be reduced.8

The renal denervation blood pressure procedure is a single, minimally invasive procedure that usually takes about an hour and is done in a hospital. Some people go home the same day and others stay overnight and go home the next day. The medical team will decide what is right for each patient.
