Freezor Cardiac Cryoablation Catheters
Cardiac Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation
The Freezor™ family of cardiac cryoablation catheters are flexible, single-use, minimally invasive devices designed to ablate cardiac tissue.
Freezor catheters, used in conjunction with the CryoConsole™, are the only focal catheters that utilize the cryo energy source, with ablation indications ranging from atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT) to atrial arrhythmias.
Freezor and Freezor Xtra Cardiac Cryoablation Catheters are designed to create focal lesions to treat AVNRT.
The Freezor Xtra catheter is also intended for minimally invasive cardiac surgery procedures, including surgical treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. The Freezor Xtra catheter freezes the target tissue and blocks the electrical conduction by creating scar tissue.
Freezor MAX Cardiac Cryoablation Catheter is an adjunctive device used in the endocardial treatment of paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation (episode duration less than 6 months) to complete pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) if needed. It may also be used for:
