LEARN ABOUT THE PILLCAM™ CLOUD READER SOFTWARE WORKFLOW

PillCam™ cloud reader software study flow:

  1. A patient study is downloaded onto the local computer C:/ drive or network drive.
  2. PillCam™ cloud reader software synchronization agent pushes the study to the AWS cloud.
  3. Study is accessed via URL or the unit.
  4. The provider reviews the report and sends it back to the practice or unit.
  5. The synchronization agent stores it in the original study location on the local desktop or network location.

The PillCam™ cloud reader software is run using the Medtronic Cloud Services platform and can be accessed using a web browser by any authorized and registered user with an internet connection. The software includes:

  • PillCam™ cloud reader software - a web-based application that includes viewer software enabling review and analysis of PillCam™ capsule procedure data and generation of capsule endoscopy reports5
  • PillCam™ sync agent - a local software that works in the background to maintain synchronization of procedure data between the local folders and the cloud5
