LigaSure™ Dolphin Tip Open Sealer/Divider

The LigaSure™ dolphin tip open sealer/divider (LS1520) is a dolphin-nose tip vessel sealer and divider, featuring a 20 cm shaft for use in open procedures. It can be used to seal vessels up to and including 7 mm, lymphatics, and tissue bundles. It can also be used to seal pulmonary vasculature but only when used with the ForceTriad energy platform.

The LigaSure vessel sealing systems have not been shown to be effective for tubal sterilization or tubal coagulation for sterilization procedures and should not be used for these procedures. Use caution during surgical cases in which patients exhibit certain types of vascular pathology (atherosclerosis, aneurysmal vessels, etc.). For best results, apply the seal to unaffected vasculature.
