The PillCam™ SB 3 capsule is a camera inside a capsule used for visualization of the small bowel to help monitor gastrointestinal conditions.
The PillCam™ SB 3 capsule endoscopy system may be used as a tool in the detection of abnormalities of the small bowel and is intended for use in adults and children from two years of age.
The PillCam™ sensor array features an 8-lead sensor, which is placed on the patient’s body to receive transmission data from the capsule.
The PillCam™ recorder DR3 is a recording device that captures images with a real-time viewer. It is worn by the patient during a PillCam™ procedure.
