Medtronic Spark: Igniting futures in health tech

Medtronic Spark is a global, 10-year commitment to propel 1 million students from low-income households into healthcare technology careers. The initiative will address the growing health tech talent gap through three programs: Medtronic Spark Innovator Labs, Medtronic Spark Credentials, and the Medtronic Spark Scholarship. Together, we’re shaping the future of healthcare technology—one student at a time.

Fueling employee passion

Our employees drive meaningful change through giving and volunteerism. We support their impact through:

Matched Giving – The Medtronic Foundation matches employee and retiree donations to eligible nonprofits, up to $5,000 annually.
Volunteer Grants – Employees earn $200 grants for every 10 volunteer hours, redeemable to a nonprofit of their choice (up to $1,000 per year).
Project 6 – Our annual kickoff in May ignites year-round giving and volunteering for causes that matter most to our employees.

Through the Medtronic Foundation, we partner with trusted organizations: Americares and International Medical Corps to effectively deploy resources to global employee communities impacted by crisis events.
