The NanoPod is MR Unsafe. The NanoPod is not intended for use in an MRI environment.

The NanoPod is not suitable for use in the presence of room air flammable anesthetic mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide

The NanoPod should not be used as an apnea monitor. Do not make decisions based solely on "no breath" outputs. All other parameters must be taken into consideration when using the device in critical care settings (life-threatening or life-sustaining clinical conditions)

Cautions

The NanoPod should be used only with host monitors authorized by Medtronic for use with the NanoPod. Do not connect the NanoPod with an unauthorized host monitor. Ensure that the NanoPod is referenced in the host monitor manual, and follow the connection procedure described in the host monitor manual to connect the device

Do not lift the NanoPod by the sampling line. Do not pull the NanoPod so that it becomes detached from the host monitor. After readjusting the position of the NanoPod for any reason, ensure that it has not become detached from the host monitor

Then placing the NanoPod into the cradle, ensure that the gray section of the NanoPod, where the CO2 port is located, is facing upwards

Contraindications

The NanoPod should not be used as an apnea monitor
