Thierry Piéton
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Thierry Piéton is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Medtronic. He serves on the company's Executive Committee and is responsible for leading the Medtronic global Finance organization and key supporting functions, including Treasury, Tax, Controllership, Financial Planning and Analysis, Audit, Investor Relations, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and Portfolio Management.
Before joining Medtronic in March 2025, Thierry served as Chief Financial Officer and was a member of the Leadership Team at Renault Group. Prior to becoming CFO at Renault, he held various leadership positions of increasing scope and responsibility at the company. In addition, Thierry has broad experience working across regulated manufacturing industries, including at Nissan Motor Co. Ltd, General Electric, GE Healthcare, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Thierry graduated from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon (EM Lyon Business School) and completed executive programs at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
