This is my first Insulin Pump

New to pump

This class is intended for those who are brand new to insulin pumping.  The class will assist you with understanding the fundamentals of pumping, getting to know your device, learning the menus and programming your pump settings. Following the class, you will be well prepared to meet with your trainer to start your new pump. 

New to CGM

This class is intended for those who are brand new to CGM.  The class will assist you with understanding the fundamentals of CGM, learning the menus and programming your CGM settings and inserting and starting a sensor. You will have the option of starting a sensor during the class or to schedule time with a trainer if you prefer. 

Food for Thought-Carb Counting

This class is intended for those who are new to carb counting or those looking for a bit of a refresher.  The class will assist you with your understanding of the basic building blocks of macronutrients, balancing meals, bolus options and insulin action, and an overview of online resources and apps available to assist you.  Please bring your questions to the class!

I already use an Insulin Pump

Upgrade pump & CGM

This class is intended for those currently using an insulin pump with or without CGM and transitioning to the MiniMed™ 670G system with or without CGM.  The class will review the setup of your MiniMed™ 770G insulin pump and CGM including transferring your settings, pairing devices and starting on CGM including sensor insertion. (note: the pump upgrade portion will be covered first so you may leave the class following that segment if you do not intend to use CGM). 

Using SmartGuard™ Auto Mode

This class is intended for those who are already using the MiniMed™ 770G insulin pump with CGM and ready to start SmartGuard™ Auto Mode.  The class will assist you with understanding the fundamentals of Auto Mode, getting started and successful use including bolusing and Auto Mode exits

USING THE MINIMED™ MOBILE AND CARELINK™ CONNECT APPS

This class is intended for those looking for guidance on the successful use of the Minimed™ Mobile and CareLink™ Connect apps so you and your care partner(s) so you and your care partner(s) can stay connected. Please download and setup the app(s) from the app store before attending the class (note: the MiniMed™ Mobile app will be covered first so you may leave the class following that segment if you do not intend to use the CareLink™ Connect app).

This class is intended for those currently using the MiniMed™ 670G system with CGM and SmartGuard™ Auto Mode and transitioning to the MiniMed™ 770G system. The class will review what’s new, getting you connected and set up including the use of the MiniMed™ mobile app.
