Frequently Asked Questions

  • Why isn’t a clip always present in the jaw of the Endo Clip™?
The Endo Clip™ features user-controlled clip loading, which allows the user to leave the jaws of the instrument empty during instrument changes or dissection. This feature reduces the incidence of clip dropping or mis-alignment.
  • How do I fire the Endo Clip™?

After insertion through the port, squeeze the small white trigger in front of the large clear handle, loading a clip in the jaw. Squeeze the large clear handle to close the clip on tissue.

Please refer to the package insert for complete instructions, contraindications, warnings and precautions.

  • How do I know how many clips are left in the Endo Clip™?
The Endo Clip™ is loaded with 20 clips (15 clips in the Large size). It features a clear shaft, which allows visibility of the clips remaining in the instrument. It also features a yellow bar which appears at the jaw when the applier is empty. Once the final clip has been fired, the safety interlock feature prevents the handle from being squeezed, thus preventing the empty jaw from being closed on tissue.
