Hi! I am from Saudi Arabia based in Jeddah. I studied bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering in the United Arab Emirates and I've worked with medical devices (service + maintenance) for the past 2 years.

When and why did you join Medtronic?

I join Medtronic in June 2021. The reason why I joined Medtronic is that during my academic career whenever we go visit the top medical companies Medtronic was involved, so I had the opportunity to visit the booth and do my research later on about the company’s vision and it was very interesting for me, especially when the internship program was about sales training which is something I have never experienced so I did not think twice before applying.

What is your current position and what do you do?

I joined the Surgical innovations department as a sales representative, located in Jeddah, and I am responsible for two portfolios. Is also part of my job to perform workshops In hospitals across my region which sometimes will require traveling which is the most exciting part for me. And much more is yet to come.

What do you like the most about your job?

I always learn about new technologies and products and I can apply my knowledge in the field leading to great discussions with surgeons. Also, my network has incredibly expanded.

Currently, I’m excited to have hands-on training which I will be able to practice and apply what I have learned in reality.
