Improving the value of health care starts with a good understanding of the problem. How? Use a radar chart, a readily understandable snapshot of health care value.

In the past, medical outcomes and comparative data were typically displayed in tables. Such displays isolated the performance of individual metrics but made comparison between alternative treatments, clinicians, and facilities impossible. Using a radar chart, however, promotes better decision making and will aid in the continual effort to deliver better value to patients.
