Support during your test.


The test is an opportunity to try Medtronic bladder or bowel control therapy and see if an InterStim™ system is right for you. Use the following resources to support you:

Expect check-ins from a Medtronic Support Link™ specialist. They will collect details from your symptom diary to give your healthcare provider the information needed to evaluate the test.*

Print a copy of our diary. Then track and share your symptoms to determine if they improve at least 50%.

What’s next?

  1. Track your symptoms daily during your test, using your symptom diary.
  2. A Medtronic Support Link™ specialist will contact you to collect your symptom diary data.*
  3. Wear your belt and external neurostimulator throughout your entire test. Keep them clean and dry.
  4. You do not need to feel stimulation for the duration of your test. As long as you are having symptom relief, no adjustment is needed.
  5. Return your test programmer, charging cable and block, and symptom diary at the end of your test.

*Not all healthcare providers participate in the Medtronic Support Link™ program. Follow the directions provided at your appointment.
