Cardiac Ablation for Non-AF Arrhythmias
Transseptal technique allows left atrial access from the venous system for catheter ablation of left-sided arrhythmogenic substrates. Many physicians prefer the transseptal approach; others use it when a transaortic (retrograde) approach is contraindicated.1
The Mullins Transseptal Introducer Sheath and Brockenbrough™ Curved Needles are sterile, single-use products designed to allow access to the left atrium during electrophysiology procedures.
The Mullins sheath serves as a conduit for the needle and electrophysiology catheters. It is a sterile, single-use product.
Brockenbrough™ curved needles are stainless steel and used to make the transseptal puncture. They are sterile, single-use products. Available in adult and pediatric sizes.
