Kyphon Multi-Tap Adapter
This adapter is used to fill multiple bone filler devices at once. There are two options available for use with Xpander 8ga (A23) and Express 10ga (A22) access tools. Order as a bundle with Kyphon Xpede Cement and Mixer for use with Xpander 8ga (CX01B-MT3) or with Express 10ga (CX01B-MT2).

Cement Delivery
Bone cement delivery can be done with bone filler devices (BFDs) or the Kyphon™ Cement Delivery System (CDS). The Kyphon CDS offers these features:
- Precisely controlled bone cement delivery up to 4 feet away from the radiation source
- A quick release button that halts cement flow instantly

The complication rate with Kyphon™ Balloon Kyphoplasty has been demonstrated to be low. There are risks associated with the procedure (e.g., cement extravasation), including serious complications, and through rare, some of which may be fatal.
Risks of acrylic bone cements include cement leakage, which may cause tissue damage, nerve or circulatory problems, and other serious adverse events, such as:
- Cardiac arrest
- Cerebrovascular accident
- Myocardial infarction
- Pulmonary embolism
- Cardiac embolism
