SURGICAL SUPPORT

You focus on the patient, while we look after the technology.

  • Presurgical Planning: Ensure all the right instruments and disposables are ready for the case. Work with radiology to ensure the correct scan format is used (where applicable). Troubleshoot any communication issues between Medtronic systems and integrated third-party systems. Provide staff with in-service training and provide work-flow insights.
  • Day of Surgery: Provide system set-up and functional verification. Get the scan loaded onto the system, verify the scan. Is exam merging required? Are 3D models built? If so, check them.
  • During Surgery: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve equipment and instrument issues. Provide real-time guidance and training to OR staff.
  • Post-Surgery: Check equipment and stow. Review case questions with OR staff.

REMOTE SUPPORT

Resolve problems faster with remote system diagnostics, detection of potential part failures of certain parts, and troubleshooting.  Available on the StealthStation™ S8 System, O-arm™ O2 System, and included at no additional charge with all service plans.

PARTS, LABOR, AND TRAVEL

Responsive, high-priority-on-site services. Parts are shipped overnight, when available. Repairs are performed by certified Medtronic technicians using only Medtronic parts to ensure system integrity and patient safety. Parts, labor, and travel are included at no additional charge with all service plans.

PLANNED MAINTENANCE INSPECTION

Be proactive with on-time planned maintenance inspections. Planned maintenance inspections are performed by certified Medtronic technicians at a time that is convenient for you. Depending on the system, planned maintenance is recommended every six months to annually. All recommended planned maintenance inspections are included at no additional charge with all service plans.
