COVID-19 REMOTE PATIENT MONITORING

We have developed a new Respiratory Infectious Disease Health Check that could help stem the tide of COVID-19 patients into overburdened hospitals.

RESPIRATORY INFECTIOUS DISEASE HEALTH CHECK

This new program was designed for patients who need to be monitored at home following potential exposure to, or diagnosis with, COVID-19. Additionally, it can be used for those considered to be at higher risk for COVID-19 complications as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

HOW IT WORKS

Patients who have been exposed to COVID-19, or suspect they might have the virus, are enrolled in the Respiratory Infectious Disease Health Check and complete a daily health check using MCMS patient engagement technology platforms. They answer a series of questions about their respiratory infectious disease symptoms and submit temperature readings.

Symptom and temperature readings are captured and aggregated in MCMS clinical monitoring software. If the patient’s condition begins to change, the care team is alerted so they can determine the appropriate intervention.
