Responsible supply chain training
Training covers environmental and social topics, including labor conditions and human rights.
To ensure a responsible supply chain, we provide Responsible Supply Management training for employees in our procurement, sourcing, and supplier quality groups.
Medtronic's Human Rights training program has been developed to provide all Medtronic employees and contractors with direct responsibilities for supplier selection and management with the tools they need to:
- Identify Human Rights risks across our internal operations and supply chain
- Understand how human trafficking and modern slavery practices can occur, and what to do in the event a violation is identified
- Assess the appropriateness of labor conditions across our supply chain
All Medtronic employees and contractors with direct responsibilities for supplier selection and management are required to complete the training, with training completion metrics formally monitored.
