I need to return an explanted product
A device that has been removed from within the body must be shipped to Medtronic in a biohazard container. Medtronic will send you a biohazard return kit and instructions for shipping the device. The kit and shipping are free of charge if the pre-applied USPS shipping label is used.
Examples of explanted products include:
Contact Patient or Customer Services to request authorization to ship your device. Depending on the type of device you are returning, you will receive either a prepaid shipping label or a FedEx box with a label for returning your device.
