The PillCam™ Genius SB Kit features the PillCam™ Genius link device, the first wearable device used for capsule endoscopy. The PillCam™ Genius link device is a single-use device intended for storing images received from the PillCam™ Genius SB capsule, sending commands to the PillCam™ Genius SB capsule, and providing notifications to the patient while adhered to the patient’s body.1
The single-use PillCam™ Genius SB capsule endoscopy kit removes the burden of capital management. With the introduction of the link device, no longer will urgent cases or unreturned recorders interrupt scheduled capsule procedures because of hardware constraints. Additionally, the PillCam™ software 9.7 works with the PillCam™ Genius SB capsule endoscopy kit and the PillCam™ SB3 system, allowing you to continue to use your existing equipment.2
The days of your practice being limited on offering capsule endoscopy at select clinics are a thing of the past. With the PillCam™ Genius SB system there is a much smaller start-up requirement than previous versions of PillCam™ capsule, which required capital equipment such as recorders and docking stations.
