Features

The latest software release for the Capnostream™ 35 portable respiratory monitor includes features and bug fixes implemented in version 1.07.0X.XX (also known as V1.7). These changes include:

  • SO standards compliance: software complies with new release of several standards, such as ISO 80601-2-55:2018, ISO 80601-2-61:2018, and ISO 80601-2-49:2018.
  • Enabling/disabling of alarms: alarms with two limits (EtCO2 high and EtCO2 low) can now be either fully enabled or fully disabled.
  • Compatibility with NAT (nellcor analytics tool) reports for SpO2 only SPDout protocols via SD card, USB flash drive, or serial cable.
  • Blip pitch tone change: blip pitch is a functionality that expresses every pulse bit with a beep. The tone of the sound of the beep changes in accordance with the SpO2 concentration. The lower the SpO2, the lower the beep tone.
  • Ability to use LAN connectivity with Capnostream™ communication protocol.

Software version 1.07.0X.XX (V1.7) is available to customers who have purchased the Capnostream™ 35 portable respiratory monitor in countries with market authorization. This software version 1.07.0X.XX (V1.7) is available free of charge and is an enhancement of software V1.05.02 (V1.5.2). All customers with an earlier version than V1.05.02 are required to upgrade to 1.07.0X.XX. Customers with V1.05.02 or a later version can choose to upgrade or stay with their current versions.
