- A standard 15 mm connector — for connection to respiratory and anesthesia equipment
- Depth marks in centimeter increments — printed along a portion of the length of the device
- Magill curve — for easier tube insertion
- Embedded radiopaque filament within its wall — present down the length of the tube and visible on X-ray
- Full-circumference glottic print marks on sizes 5.0–10.0 mm — for tube visualization during intubation and tube placement when the tip is out of view and beyond the vocal cords†
