System component 1
Generates stimulation for your therapy.
Sacral neuromodulation systems are designed to last several years before needing to be replaced. The battery lifespan depends on the program settings chosen. The neurostimulator may need to be replaced if the battery depletes or the device malfunctions. This will require additional surgery, and all surgeries carry risk. InterStim™ Micro is a smaller rechargeable system that can deliver 15 years of battery life with a 20 minute weekly recharge*.
*Under the standard patient therapy settings and appropriate recharger placement.

This app enables you to manage your therapy, including:
Every time you use the Micro My Therapy App, you’ll need to use the communicator to connect the Smart Programmer with the neurostimulator.
This App can be used to manage the recharging process.
You may receive pop-up notifications on the Smart Programmer while using the My Therapy app. If you have questions about a notification not listed here, refer to the InterStim™ Therapy Guide. If you still have questions, contact your physician.
The Communicator needs to be charged. Plug it into the charger. Remember, you can’t use the Communicator while it is charging.
Your Smart Programmer has lost connection with the communicator. Make sure the Communicator is fully charged. Then reposition it over the neurostimulator and tap RETRY on the Smart Programmer.
The neurostimulator is not responding. Reposition the Communicator over the neurostimulator and tap RETRY.
