How does DBS therapy work?
DBS therapy helps extend the control patients already get from the medication over the movement symptoms of Parkinson's.

How long will it take for the DBS therapy to work after the implant procedure?

Does DBS prevent a person from using future treatments that may come along?
No, the system can be turned off or surgically removed, in most cases, which may enable patients to take advantage of future treatment options.
