What is postoperative delirium (POD)?

Postoperative delirium (POD) is a state of confusion that can occur after surgery. It affects memory and awareness, making it difficult for patients to think clearly and understand what is happening around them.

Postoperative Delirium is a temporary state of confusion and cognitive disturbance following surgery, often seen in older adults.

Symptoms of POD1
