When compared to electrical resection (resectoscopy), the soft tissue shaver used with the TruClear™ system demonstrated more likely to completely remove endometrial polyps.3
All TruClear™ soft tissue shavers offer:
- Simultaneous tissue cutting and aspiration to reduce procedure time compared to electrical resection5
- A suction control with a window lock feature that can be set to stop the fluid outflow while the handpiece is idle, conserving fluid. The window lock can be set from the TruClear™ footswitch.4,5
- TruClear™ soft tissue shaver mini cutting window length is 5 mm
- TruClear™ soft tissue shaver plus cutting window length is 7 mm

Residual risks to the patients may include but are not limited to exposure to body fluids, fetal distress, metastasis (cancer), peritonitis, abscess, and electric shock.
