Patients need caregivers to help them maintain their health at home.
Caregivers can help with:
- Nutrition
- Rehabilitation therapy (physical, occupational, speech, and respiratory)
- Skin care
- Mobility
- Activities for daily living (bathing, dressing, eating, toileting)
- Airway care (i.e. suctioning, changing the trach tube and inner cannulas, etc.)
