TREATMENT OPTION

Surgical Treatments

If physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, medications, or injections don’t help, a doctor may recommend that a person consider surgery to stabilise their sacroiliac joint through fusion (joining bones together into one solid structure). SI joint fusion surgery can be minimally invasive, a person should consult their medical team to decide if surgery is a good option to treat sacroiliac joint disease.

The most appropriate treatment depends on each unique situation. Discuss treatment options with a doctor.
