What is Tubal Disease?

Female infertility can occur due to fallopian tube damage or pelvic inflammatory disorders such as endometriosis.¹

How is Tubal Disease treated?

Tubal disease can be diagnosed by ultrasound (US) or other imaging techniques.¹ Treatment of tubal infertility depends on the cause, whether the condition is correctable, and the goals of the patient. In many cases laparoscopy confirms the diagnosis and can offer a good treatment to the problem.¹

If the tubes are blocked or damaged beyond repair, IVF will most probably help to achieve pregnancy.¹
