Sofsilk™ silk sutures are nonabsorbable, sterile, nonmutagenic surgical sutures composed of natural proteinaceous silk fibers called fibroin
Features
- Available white or colored black with logwood extract and uniformly coated with silicone or 100% beeswax
- Available in sizes 5-0 (7 Metric) though 7-0 (0.5 Metric)
- Are suupplied sterile, in pre-cut lengths and ligating reels, non-needled or affixed to needles using both permanent and removable needle attachment techniques
- Available in quantities of one, two, and three dozen
