DAR™ electrostatic filter HME
The DAR™ electrostatic filter HME helps protect against cross-contamination while minimizing heat and moisture loss from patient airways.
Description
The DAR™ electrostatic filter HME is a single use electrostatic bacterial/viral filter with a heat and moisture exchanger for breathing circuits. This product is designed to help protect patients, equipment, and hospital staff from cross contamination, while minimizing heat and moisture loss from patient airways.
Features
- Low resistance to flow reduces work of breathing, compared to mechanical filters1
- End tidal oxygen sampling port offers convenient access to airway gases; some filters feature a tethered cap for this port
- ISO 15 mm and 22 mm fitting connects with breathing system
