A Flexible Catheter for Hard-to-Reach Areas

MeroGel Nasal Packing Results in Fewer Adhesions

MeroGel® Injectable nasal packing is a bioresorbable, space-occupying gel stent used after functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS) or nasal trauma. It's composed of cross-linked polymers of hyaluronic acid and administered with a flexible catheter for easier access to nasal cavities.

During the important postoperative period, MeroGel Injectable nasal packing is intended to:

  • Separate and prevent adhesions between mucosal surfaces
  • Help control minimal bleeding following surgery or nasal trauma
  • Act as an adjunct to aid in the natural healing process
  • Eliminate the need for painful nasal packing removal for patients

Hyaluronic Acid: Fewer Adhesions, Reduced Healing Time

Our bioresorbable nasal packing products use hyaluronic acid, a linear polysaccharide and naturally occurring constituent of the extracellular matrix.

Hyaluronic acid helps keep the surgical site moist, reduce adhesions, and decrease healing time.4 Esterified hyaluronic acid, or HYAFF®, is a patented formula that is used in our MeroGel and MeroPack® nasal packing products.
