Our service seminars are designed to teach hospital biomedical equipment technicians (BMETs), clinical engineers (CEs), and in-house service technicians how to setup, operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot Medtronic ventilators.

To ensure the utmost quality and safety of your ventilators, Medtronic is the only authorized training provider for Puritan Bennett™ and Newport™ series ventilators. With manufacturer specific information and guidelines for maintaining the equipment, our training allows biomedical professionals to perform preventive maintenance and repair equipment efficiently and effectively.

No other program is recognized by Medtronic as a valid form of training for Puritan Bennett™ or Newport™ ventilators. We only provide full technical support to biomedical engineers who have an official and current training certificate issued from Medtronic Service Seminars.

Through lecture, demonstrations, and extensive hands-on workshops, participants will learn to:

  • Disassemble equipment
  • Remove and replace parts
  • Perform calibration procedures
  • Confirm output parameters

Participants should have a background in biomedical equipment technology. Previous experience with ventilator equipment service is beneficial.

Completion Criteria

Successful course completion will be determined through written tests and structured lab exercises. Participants will receive a certificate of completion if they attend the entire course and fulfill the competency requirements.
