The Microstream™ capnography monitoring system — consisting of the patient monitor, Smart Capnography™ algorithms, and Microstream Advance™ filter lines — is designed for early detection of changes in patient ventilation.
Using Molecular Correlation Spectroscopy™ (MCS), a CO2-specific IR wavelength that is highly accurate and unaffected by the presence of other gases, Microstream™ technology-enabled monitors deliver clear, crisp waveforms and accurate respiratory rate measurements.
Our Smart Capnography™ family of algorithms reduces nuisance alarms by 53% and ensures an accurate respiratory rate by rejecting shallow non-breath CO2 excursions that occur in snoring, talking, and crying.
Microstream™ Advance filter lines with Uni-junction™ technology enables EtCO2 sampling from both nares or the mouth to deliver accurate readings up to 150 breaths per minute.†
Built with Microstream™ technology both masks are Microstream™ technology-endorsed,‡ and incorporate genuine Microstream™ Advance filter lines you can connect to any Microstream™ capnography or Microstream™ technology-enabled monitor.
Imitation lines don’t deliver the same performance. Cross-paired sampling lines did not exhibit accurate EtCO2 readings when tested.†,4
Used at more hospitals than any other capnography system, Microstream™ delivers real-time insights into patient ventilation, so you can reduce adverse respiratory events by up to 61%.2,3,5,6
