The Nellcor™ NELL series pulse oximetry PCBAs with OxiMax™ technology deliver the proven performanceof Nellcor™ SpO2, pulse rate and SatSeconds alarm management, which clinicians and OEM partners can rely on for fast, accurate SpO2 monitoring, even in challenging conditions such as motion and low perfusion.

Nellcor™ SpO2 OEM solutions from Medtronic are backed by a team of OEM engineering and commercial experts dedicated to a high standard of OEM partner collaboration. These solutions come with professional Nellcor™ pulse oximetry evaluation and development toolkits, making integration of Nellcor™ NELL series pulse oximetry PCBAs easy and efficient.

Product Features

The Nellcor™ NELL series pulse oximetry PCBAs with OxiMax™ technology — NELL1 and NELL3 — deliver the precise SpO2 readings clinicians need, even for patients with weak pulse2 signals or fragile skin.3

In addition to pulse rate, the Nellcor™ NELL series pulse oximetry PCBAs offer the Nellcor™ SatSeconds alarm management feature that may make it easier for clinicians to differentiate between clinically relevant desaturation and minor transient events.

  • NELL1 pulse oximetry PCBA — 2 in. x 1. 5 in. (51.05 x 38.35 mm)
  • NELL3 pulse oximetry PCBA — 2 in. x 3.5 in. (50.8 x 88.9 mm)1

The Nellcor™ NELL series pulse oximetry PCBAs with OxiMax™ technology deliver a full array of Nellcor™ pulse oximetry and alarm management features, including:

  • Digital signal processing technology that enhances monitoring performance during difficult conditions4
  • Motion-tolerant pulse oximetry technology, to ensure accurate and timely SpO2 readings
  • SatSeconds alarm management technology—clinician-programmable feature for managing nuisance alarms
  • LoSat™ accuracy range of 60% to 100% SpO2
  • Expanded performance claims for use of Nellcor™ N-600X pulse oximetry bedside monitor as a tool to aid healthcare practitioners in CCHD (critical congenital heart disease) screening of neonates5,6
  • 8-bit plethysmographic waveform
  • Pulse amplitude “BLIP” bar—indicates pulse strength
  • Variable pitch beep tone—tone varies with every point change in SpO2
  • Two response modes: Changes in SpO2 are reported in 2-3 seconds in FAST mode and 5-7 seconds in Normal mode
  • C-Lock ECG synchronization—provides the pulse detect algorithm with a signal synchronized with the ECG R-wave
  • Sleep mode, for saving battery power
  • Sensor Messages function—gives clinicians troubleshooting messages related to sensor placement
  • % Modulation, for pulse strength reporting
  • Compatibility with the full portfolio of Nellcor™ OxiMax™ sensors
  • RoHS-compliant—complies with EU directive 2011/65/EC
