1998 | Medtronic signs ventilator stockpile contract for Puritan Bennett brand portable ventilator. |
2010 | Seven VA hospitals participated in a study for pallidal vs. subthalamic deep-brain stimulation for Parkinson’s disease which was a study published in NEJM.5 |
2011 | The VA in Atlanta Georgia participated in the study Implantation Success and Infection in Cardiovascular Implantable Electronic Device Procedures Utilizing an Antibacterial Envelope published in PACE.6 |
2013-2017 | Medtronic participates in three DARPA research projects focused on advancing knowledge in restoring neurologic function by developing technology to support study activities. |
2017 | Medtronic awarded U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs national contracts for home telehealth technologies with three other vendors.7 |
2019 | Medtronic named a Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Company. |
